A series of digital portraits exploring the face as a site of emotion, identity, and symbolic transformation. Music serves as both inspiration and guide throughout the process, shaping the mood, rhythm, and intuitive decisions that emerge while improvising each portrait.

Through digital painting, the series moves between figuration and abstraction, using color, distortion, and symbolic forms to interrupt conventional portraiture and open space for ambiguity, error, and the unexpected.

Similar to the concept of in music by musicians to create new music based on original music of another artist, like the album “async – remodels”. or the idea of creating artwork by reformulating another artist’s original work, as Francis Bacon did with Van Gogh’s self-portraits. I did this experiment, which is a portrait production based on one of the works of the Egyptian painter Abdel Hadi El-Gazzar.
