Built from faces of unknown people gathered as random references, this series explores the unfamiliar as a starting point for experimentation. The original features are not preserved as fixed likenesses, but used as loose guides for testing form, proportion, and visual structure.


Each portrait begins with a reference, then gradually moves away from it through changes, interruptions, and unexpected decisions. Rather than documenting a person, the works trace the process of transformation itself, allowing the final image to become something uncertain, invented, and open-ended.
